Your website is a very important part of your corporate image: it's often the first thing potential customers see of your business -- if this first impression is not a good one, they might never contact you.
Many potential clients have no patience to sit through 'funky' Flash pages and/or other multimedia content, before they can access the information they want from your website.
If your website is slow, a lot of people will simply skip to another website that will answer their questions quickly.
So just because you can use a lot of web technologies, doesn't mean you should!
